Azimio, Kenya Kwanza in row over majority status

The battle of which political party or coalition should take up the majority slots in the national assembly is likely to affect the constitution of house committees as speaker Moses Wetangula must first make a ruling on the matter. The registrar of political parties in a letter to parliament indicates that Alfred Mutua's Maendeleo Chap Chap Party and Amason Kingi's Pamoja African Alliance are still legally in Azimio while UDM and MDG parties that ditched Azimio to join Kenya Kwanza after William Ruto's win are also still in the azimio coalition. And as Stephen Letoo reports, the Kenya Kwanza side has protested the Azimio coalition agreement that seems to water down any post election agreements by its affiliate parties.
