Catholic Bishops Sunday asked opposition leader Raila Odinga to suspend the anti-government demonstrations. Kenya conference of catholic churches chairman Archbishop Martin Kivuva at the same time called for a truce between president William Ruto and the opposition noting that the demonstrations are only causing more harm than good. This came before the two leaders issued separate statements with the Azimio leader calling off Mondays demos.
