County governments have been urged to document and store policies to avoid duplication of policies during transition of government. Chief Justice Martha Koome says that lack of documentation has seen policies fail to live up to the expected outcomes and wastage of resources. Koome further called on Counties to conduct proper civic education and public participation for the communities to be involved in decision making. She spoke during the launch of the report on research conducted by ForumCiv and the National Council for Law Reporting. The research conducted in Narok, Kajiado and Nakuru counties revealed there was a disconnect in public policy formulation and implementation.
