The government has embarked on an intervention that will see tea farmers in the country maximise on exports of their produce. Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mithika Linturi says he will intervene with his ministry currently working on a mechanism that will see farmers enjoy favourable forex rates during their transactions. He spoke during the Kenya Tea Development Agency directors’ conference in Nairobi.
