National treasury cabinet secretary Njuguna Ndungu has refuted claims that the Kenya Kwanza administration's maiden budget is too ambitious. The cs said analysis done on the economic growth has shown that proposed taxes are payable. Azimio coalition had proposed a leaner budget that the taxpayers can fund. The CS has further affirmed the government's commitment to reduce borrowing by raising revenue locally.
