Government intends to create 25,000 hotspots in the country to help small businesses tap into the online market and boost their businesses. This according to Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua who was speaking in Nyeri county where he launched a free WiFi hotspot at the Nyeri open air market. Meanwhile, traders at the Wakulima market in Nairobi continue to enjoy free internet access through a similar project launched by government a week ago.
