Education stakeholders in Muranga are calling on the government to declare around learning institutions a drug free zones to limit the number of bars around schools. While welcoming the crackdown on illicit brew in Mount Kenya region, the leaders said the plan by the government to reduce the number of bars in any trading centers will go a long way in fight against illicit brew. Speaking during the educational program in Kahuro sub county, Muranga county education director Ann Kiiru and officials present pledged to support the war on drug abuse.
