Fire fighters from Nairobi County and Disaster Management and Co-ordination team on Thursday conducted a fire drill at the Kenya International Convention Center causing panic among guests and workers who were caught unawares and scampered for safety. It took approximately five minutes before the first person was evacuated from the building. The drill comes just hours after President William Ruto is expected to be the chief guest at the launch of more government services on the E-Citizen platform. Here is our reporter Abdiaziz Hashim with the details.
