Former Principal Gatanga CCM SecondarySchool Elizabeth Wairimu Gatimu has been charged with murder. This follows the death of a student in 2019 after it was established that she had been assaulted severely by a senior administrative member of the school on allegations of styling her hair contrary to school regulations. The principal pleaded not guilty as the court scheduled the matter to be mentioned on the 27th of February 2023 for bail and bond hearing. This and more from the corridors of justice.
