Gov’t and doctors once again fail to strike a deal

The stalemate between striking doctors and the government continues, after the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and dentists union failed to sign a return to work formula in a meeting with the whole of the nation approach committee that went on late into the night. Accusations and counter accusations among parties led to a deadlock. And as Emily Chebet reports, KMPDU insists that the strike is still on, accusing the government of failure to commit to timelines on implementation of the issues that have been agreed on.
