The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission and the media have undertaken to ensure prompt exchange of information on the August 9th election to ensure the exercise is transparent, free and credible. In a joint communiqué issued after a two day consultative workshop in Diani IEBC and the Kenya media stakeholders working group committed themselves to an open door policy and continuous dialogue for the success of the exercise. As Ann Mburu reports the duo agreed to finalize a framework for media access to electoral information.
