Doctor's union KMPDU has made clear its position on the strike notice issued on the 28th of November this year, stating that come January 2023, all doctors across the country will cease providing services across all public hospitals. The confirmation comes barely a week after the ministry of labor through its commissioner Joe Mwanzia pleaded with the doctor's union to call off the strike to allow for negotiations.
