The Raila odinga led opposition has called off the countrywide anti-government mass demonstrations for a week. In response to an appeal by President William Ruto, the Opposition says the temporary ceasefire is to allow the President to form a bi-partisan committee that will address the issues raised including the re- constitution of the IEBC.
