Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi appears before the senate for grilling

    The pressure to settle the huge public debt has had a toll on the Kenyan economy contributing significantly to the high cost of living. Prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi revealed this during a question and answer session in the national assembly. As of now, the debt stands at Kshs 9.4 trillion against a debt ceiling of Kshs 10 trillion. Musalia has however said the government is on the right trajectory to cushion Kenyans against the high cost of living. Interior CS Kindiki Kithure and CS Zachariah Njeru of lands have also appeared before the senate to answer pertinent questions from the senators.
