The livestock sector received a new boost after the launch of a program that will see the sector receive support in managing rangelands. The program, dubbed as Resilient Approaches in Natural Rangeland Ecosystems, RANGE will cover the counties of Marsabit, Samburu, and Isiolo. The program was launched by the Netherlands Deputy Ambassador, Joris van Bommel, together with the leadership of the respective counties. The program's goal is to strengthen the resilience of the ASAL communities that contribute to sustainable economic and social development in a well-managed landscape.
