Requiem mass held for Mai Mahiu flood victims

The government has set aside 7 million shillings to cater for burial arrangements for the 62 Mai Mahiu tragedy victims. Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua confirmed this during a requiem mass for the victims at Mo gas grounds in Nakuru county. The affected families have also called on the government to help them with the search of 51 individuals still unaccounted for, a week later.
