Residents of Kaniu, Kinungu and Old Kijabe villages in Mai Mahiu Naivasha, Nakuru County are counting losses after heavy rains swept away major roads and crops worth millions of shillings. The latest destruction comes more than a week after floods caused havoc in the area. Resident are now calling for urgent support from the national government to clear the boulders and tree stumps left behind by the rains.
