Bumula legislator Jack Wamboka who filed a motion seeking to remove Mithika Linturi as agriculture cabinet secretary had an uphill task, moments of confusion and emotional outbursts while defending his three grounds of impeachment. This even as he pleaded with the 11-member select committee to determine the matter on perception and not evidence based on technicalities as it's not a court of law. Linturi is however adamant that justice for farmers who bought fake fertilizer should not be an injustice to him and therefore the case needs substantial evidence.
