Grade 10 learners stuck at home as bursaries delayed

As Grade 10 admission continues countrywide, thousands of learners from informal settlements and needy families are stranded due to a lack of fees. Despite their stellar performance in the 2025 Kenya Junior School Education assessment, the learners are still stuck at home as the parents cannot afford to pay fees and meet their other basic requirements, as the high cost of living continues to bite.
