The Kenya team for the upcoming World Mountain and trail running championships will be selected during the fifth edition of the Barn-Getuny Mountain Run on the 17th of January. The running event, part of the 2026 edition of the Magical Kenya Mountain and trail series, was launched today in Nairobi. The run will co-headline the first leg of the series, alongside the tap-tengelei cultural festival and trails expedition. The three-day event is set for January 15th to 18th in Nandi County and is expected to draw thousands of enthusiasts.
