Parents protest poor 2025 KCSE results in Makueni and Kericho schools

A section of parents and candidates from the 2025 KCSE class continue to vent their frustration over poor performance in some schools across the country. In Makueni County, irate parents stormed Utuneni Secondary School after none of the candidates attained a mean grade above C-, accusing the school principal of ignoring repeated calls to improve management and learning conditions. Meanwhile, in Kericho County, parents at Kabokyek Adventist Secondary School are demanding a review of the results, arguing that the grades released do not reflect students’ performance based on internal assessments and projections.
