Western region governors endorse ODM's resolution to initiate coalition talks with UDA

Governors from the western region, Fernandes Barasa (Kakamega), Paul Otuoma (Busia), Wilbur Ottichilo (Vihiga) and Ken Lusaka (Bungoma) have endorsed the decision by the ODM party’s Central Management Committee to initiate negotiations with the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) over a possible coalition ahead of the 2027 General Election. Speaking in Kakamega, the governors said they are fully behind the party leadership under Hon. Oburu Odinga, noting that the move is strategic and necessary for the region to remain united and strengthen its bargaining power as the next elections approach.
