Oburu tells ODM rebels they are free to leave the party

The Orange Democratic Party (ODM) leader, Oburu Oginga, has stated that party rebels are free to leave voluntarily, insisting they will not be expelled. This comes after Secretary General Edwin Osotsi and Deputy Leader Geoffrey Osotsi skipped the party’s rally at Kamukunji Grounds in Kibra constituency. The party has formally informed its members that it is holding coalition consultative meetings with the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), aiming to reach a pre-election pact ahead of the 2027 General Election.
