Ruto launches the 6th edition of NYOTA fund programme

President William Ruto has defended the NYOTA project, through which the government has been disbursing funds to the youth, terming it the key to unlock limitless potential among the country’s youthful populace. Speaking at the Machakos stadium as he presided over the 6th edition of the disbursement of the business support funds to 5,900 youth drawn from Kitui, Makueni and Machakos Counties, Ruto yet again lashed out at Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka for opposing a project, that he believes will drive the youth out of the unemployment crisis. He at the same time reiterated his resolve to catapult the country to Singapore status, even as his deputy Kithure Kindiki, branded those opposed to the country’s development, as enemies of the state.
