A Nairobi court has ordered Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya to issue a public apology and spearhead a peace campaign before his hate speech case can be withdrawn. The court declined a request by the Director of Public Prosecutions to terminate the case, insisting the legislator must fully comply with conditions set by the National Cohesion and Integration Commission first.
