Hanna Wendot Cheptumo, CS for the Ministry of Gender, Culture and Children Services: Over the past year, Child Welfare Society of Kenya identified and prevented 84,456 children from the worst forms of labour, a challenge that remains a major cause of school dropout.
CWSK also reached 156,000 children affected by drought, floods, and other emergencies, while another 169 000 benefitted from education support services and learning materials.
