The National Cohesion and Integration Commission have warned politicians against inciting Kenyans to violence. Speaking in Nairobi during the launch of two key documents aimed at taming hate speech, NCIC Director in Charge of Investigation and Compliance Prof. James Wanyande said it will not be business as usual, as they will ensure the hate mongers face the full force of the law. Wanyande said the two documents will help promote peace, unity, and tranquility amongst Kenyans, especially as the country enters the electioneering phase.
