Kiambu MCAs vow to defend Wamatangi from any impeachment attempt

More than 80 Members of the Kiambu County Assembly (MCAs) have thrown their weight behind Governor Kimani Wamatangi and vowed to defend him from any impeachment attempts. Though they insist that there is no motion of confidence against the governor that is yet to be tabled in the Assembly, they have accused a section of elected leaders in the National Assembly from the county of organizing night meetings with another group of the MCA’s to hatch an impeachment motion.
