Gov’t to repatriate Kenyans caught up in Russia - Ukraine conflict

The government has assured Kenyans that it is working round the clock to secure the repatriation of Kenyans caught up in the Russia – Ukraine conflict. Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Dr. Korir Sing’Oei says the Kenyan government is negotiating the release of the Kenyans who have been captured by the Ukraine government and held as prisoners of war. Sing’oei at the same time attributed the crisis to illegal recruitment networks targeting vulnerable Kenyans with false promises of employment opportunities abroad. John Kahiro reports.
