Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has called for the immediate implementation of fully free secondary education in Kenya, stating that education must be protected from political influence. Speaking during a public forum, Nyoro proposed the creation of a national secondary education kitty to fund day secondary schools and school meals across the country. He noted that about fifteen billion shillings annually would make secondary education fully free.
