Gachagua accuses Northern Kenya leaders of intimidating journalists

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has accused leaders from Northern Kenya of intimidating journalists and orchestrating a boycott of a planned roundtable interview at his Karen residence in Nairobi. Gachagua said the leaders went to great lengths to prevent radio stations in Mandera, Garissa, Marsabit, Wajir and Isiolo from airing the interview. He claimed the actions were driven by fear of the truth and aimed at suppressing voices that would hold regional leaders accountable.
