The residents of Juja Constituency are appealing to the Kiambu County Government to fast-track the upgrading of Gachororo Health Centre, citing the struggle to access quality health services. The residents decry frequent referrals that force patients to travel long distances in search of critical health services. With the upgrade, the medical centre is expected to serve up to five hundred thousand people in Juja Sub-County once operational, offering surgical, laboratory, in-patient and out-patient care.
