Gachagua tipped as top opposition contender for 2027 presidency

Leaders close to former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua have touted him as the best candidate to lead the opposition in the 2027 presidential race. Speaking at two rallies in central Kenya, Gachagua and his allies criticized government policies they described as unpopular and regressive, promising to reverse them if elected.
