Isiolo Governor sacks 12 senior county officials

Isiolo Governor Abdi Ibrahim Guyo has dismissed 10 chief officers and two county executive committee members in a cabinet reshuffle. Deputy Governor James Lowasa, who had been serving as County Executive Committee Member in charge of Education and Early Childhood Development, remains without portfolio following the changes. Governor Guyo has consequently assigned additional duties to the three remaining CECMs. The reshuffle comes a month after Governor Guyo survived an impeachment motion in which 31 senators voted against his removal.
