The death of a 17-year-old boy allegedly tortured to death over claims of stealing two pairs of trousers at the Ramana Village in Nyandarua County has sparked protests. Business was at a standstill as irate residents marched to Mirangine police station to demand a speedy probe and arrest of the culprits. The residents are accusing the police of dragging their feet in investigating the incident and arresting the culprits. This comes as two suspects are in custody as investigations continue.
