Bodies of 8 Kwa Binzaro-Shakahola massacre victims released to families for burial

The government has released 8 bodies of victims of the Kwa Binzaro-Shakahola massacre that had been preserved at the Malindi Sub-County Hospital mortuary in Kilifi County to their families for burial. Government Pathologist Dr Richard Njoroge says the bodies are among 14 victims positively identified through the DNA testing out of 53 bodies and 44 body parts exhumed from shallow graves in the forest. He further called on more families to provide samples for DNA testing to identify the remaining victims.
