Cleaner production: Investing in resource efficiency is key to lowering manufacturing costs

Investing in technologies that improve resource efficiency will be key to lowering manufacturing costs and strengthening the competitiveness of Kenyan industries. This was the message during a sustainability awards ceremony in Nairobi County. A study by the Kenya National Cleaner Production Centre found that investments in cleaner production could generate annual savings of over 6 million shillings.
