EACC arrests Bungoma teacher over alleged bribery in TSC jobs scam

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has arrested a teacher in Bungoma County for soliciting and receiving bribes from unemployed teachers with a false promise of securing employment through the Teachers Service Commission. Lilian Nelima Buluma, a teacher at Friends School Kamusinga in Bungoma County, was arrested on Monday after preliminary investigations indicated she had demanded ksh 100,000 from each of the three unemployed teachers. The suspect had already received KShs 150,000 through her M-Pesa number.
