Education CS Ogamba urges lecturers to accept phased payments

Education CS Julius Migos Ogamba has once again made a passionate appeal to university dons to accept the phased payment of arrears amounting to 7.9 billion shillings. Speaking in Mombasa County, Ogamba said the government has already shown goodwill in settling the arrears and called on the striking lecturers to call off the ongoing strike, which he says is harming the higher education sector. Students are still caught in limbo as it remains unclear when the stalemate will be resolved.
