A full - scale rehabilitation of Nairobi Dam has officially kicked off. Through the restoration initiative led by the Nairobi Rivers Commission, the dam will be cleaned-up followed by construction of emergency spillway, riparian buffer enforcement and evacuation of residents from downstream and surrounding estates to safer grounds.
