NACADA seizes illicit brew worth over Ksh.13m in Machakos

NACADA has impounded fake alcohol worth more than 13 million shillings following a crackdown in Machakos County. In a coordinated early-morning operation in Kabaa, NACADA officials raided two unlicensed establishments suspected to be at the centre of one of the region’s largest illicit brew networks. The operation yielded thousands of bottles of counterfeit alcohol, fake KRA excise stamps, and empty branded bottles believed to have been used for repackaging the illegal drinks.
