Prime Cabinet Secretary Dr Musalia Mudavadi says modernizing correctional facilities through technology and green solutions such as solar-powered systems can help improve operational efficiency, lower utility costs and enhance rehabilitation. Speaking on Thursday during the closing ceremony of the fourth Correctional Services Week in Nairobi, Mudavadi called for greater investment in skills development and rehabilitation programmes for offenders, saying correctional services can contribute to employment creation, economic growth and safer communities.
