Police in Githunguri, Kiambu County have arrested six people after recovering a toy gun and an assortment of crude weapons from a hired seven-seater Toyota Noah vehicle. Githunguri Sub-County Police Commander Abdulkadir Jattani Malicha said the vehicle was intercepted at a roadblock during a routine police check. During the search, several rolls of bhang, a machete (panga), a hammer and several ropes were recovered. The six occupants were arrested on suspicion of planning to commit a felony. The suspects are currently in custody at Githunguri Police Station awaiting arraignment in court.
