The University of Nairobi Students have given the Ministry of Education 72 hours ultimatum to address the ongoing lecturers strike failure to which they will take the street. The students' leadership, led by their president Ahmed Rashid lamented that the strike has not only caused losses in learning time but has also led to rising cost of living and delays in graduations by prolonging their stay on campus. The lecturers have been on strike since October 2nd and are demanding full implementation of the 2025-2029 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
