Lecturers’ Strike | Education Committee Members call off meeting over lack of written commitment

The lecturer’s strike continued to bite with the government failing to provide proof of availability of some 4.3 billion shillings meant for the dons salary increment. The inter public university council consultative forum -IPUCCF’s chairperson, was taken to task by the national assembly over commitment of the national treasury to avail the money as part of efforts to resolve the strike that is now in its third week.
