The county government of Kilifi has confirmed receipt of its revenue share from the national treasury that will be used to pay salaries, allowances and pending bills. This comes in the wake of a cabinet reshuffle in the devolved unit by Governor Gideon Mungàro in the finance, economic planning and tourism dockets after suppliers and service providers complained of delays in approval of payments. The county boss however says the county only received the September and October disbursements and that priority will be on pending bills and casual employees salaries.
