Police officer Isaiah Muragiri found himself in a difficult situation as he tried to explain in court whether he was involved in the death of rex masai, a gen-z protester, whose murder by an unknown police officer was captured on video, and went viral during the protests in june. Muragiri maintained that he was not near the scene and could not recall what clothes he was wearing that day, despite the court being informed that data from his registered phone number indicated he was in close proximity to the incident on that day.
