Several hotels in Mombasa and the coast have started preparing for the Christmas season with activities such as the 17th century cake mixing tradition to welcome the festivities. This is an annual event which brings together both local and foreign tourists who participate in the process of mixing together ingredients such as nuts, dry fruits as well as spices among others, to come up with a plum and large sumptuous cake. Ntv’s Kevin Mutai has more on the preparations for the festive season at the coast.
