Asante anasema yeye na wanahabari wenzake wana kazi kubwa ya kufanya kuhusu changamoto hiyo. Kiongozi wa Timu ya Fact Check Kwaku Asante, kiongozi wa timu ya Fact Check Ghana anasema: “Kuna taarifa nyingi potofu huko nje. Ukiamka asubuhi unakuta kuna mambo mengi yanayoulizwa. Je, unaweza kuliangalia hili kwa ajili yetu? Je, hizi ni taarifa sahihi? Je, hii ni kweli? Kuna yeyote wa kutusaidia? Kisha tunafika na kusema, “ndiyo, tumeichunguza. Huu ndio ukweli. Hii si sahihi, na hii ni taarifa sahihi.” Kuhakiki ukweli, ni kazi ambayo Asante anaipenda, kwa miaka mitano iliyopita, alifanya kazi kuwajuza raia wa Ghana na taarifa sahihi.
