Treasury cabinet secretary John Mbadi has raised concerns over the ballooning debts and urged counties to prioritize the settlement of pending bills. He further said that unrealistic revenue forecasts by most counties, are one of the contributors of pending bills, adding that policymakers should address the existing and potential gaps for socioeconomic prosperity in counties. prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi on his part, said that the government has put in place measures to ensure a fair playing field for all businesses to thrive, saying that pthe rivate sector is so far a key driver of the economy.
